How does Dollarparking process stock token orders?
When you request a stock token trade through Dollarparking, there are two possible outcomes.
- Trade completed
- Order expired
Let’s look at the trading process and how each outcome is determined.
How a trade is completed
When a user requests a buy, Dollarparking’s AI checks the price and quantity currently available on Uniswap.
After reviewing the displayed details and approving the trade in a personal wallet, USDT or USDC is exchanged for stock tokens through Uniswap.
The purchased stock tokens then enter the user’s personal wallet.
A sale follows the same process in reverse.
The user’s stock tokens are exchanged for USDT or USDC through Uniswap, and the proceeds enter the personal wallet.
During this process, Dollarparking does not directly hold user assets or issue or burn tokens.
Why orders expire
Stock token prices and the quantities immediately available on Uniswap change continuously.
While a user reviews and approves a trade, the price may move or another trade may reduce the quantity available at that price.
Dollarparking proceeds only when the price and quantity initially confirmed by the user remain unchanged.
If the conditions change, the order expires instead of being completed at a different price.
- An “expired” status is not an error.
- It prevents a trade from completing at a price or quantity the user did not confirm.
If an order expires, check the current price and available quantity, then request the trade again.
